Implementing JSF using Icefaces in Liferay platform seems to be quite challenging in the earlier days. Not much of help for the basic stuff in the net.
They really work seamlessly, provided the initial configurations are setup properly.
Well, I have started this blog to share my views and ideas of implementing a portal application using ICEFaces in Liferay platform.
The best combination of both as far as I know is ICEFaces 1.7.2 and Liferay 5.2.1 (JBoss flavor).
